"Matt's Ministry"

Home"THE HANDS OF GOD"Jan 16, 2009
Hello,

Welcome to Matt's Ministry... one of several sites in "THE HANDS OF GOD MINISTRIES" This is a Fellowship & Outreach open to all who believe. There's music, reference links, and spiritual food. Plenty for a good time in the Lord. As members of Christ's body, we all must try to extend "GOD'S HAND."

For those who still are non believers, I hope and pray that maybe you can find reason to join us in the fellowship of Christ.

Enjoy the music, and the other items of inspiration. Feel free to leave your comments and feedback.

Your Brother In Christ,
Matt.

A gift for you......
RIDDING A COLD, MY OWN REMEDY
Written by : Faye A. Grieshaber Palmer
October 25, 2009

Here i sit with pen in hand...
Thoughts run through my head,
Pondering things i can convey
As i sit upon my bed.

Each day is always busy
Keeping me going in my stride.
Wee ones still much to learn,
Always give me great pride.

Sick with colds they've been lately.
A daily battle i must say.
My tips for getting well really work
I use them myself day after day.

Keep your feet warm n snug
Socks n shoes do wear til nap or bed at night.
For nose n mouth use your cover like a tent
Follow my instructions, you will be alright.

The warm air you breathe in
Is what your body needs.
To rid the sinus and head cold
Do what i say, you will succeed.

When you breathe in cool air
And we don't cover up
We're feeding that cold
Then ridden it is tough.

There is no place I would be than with you Lord
There are nothing I would rather do than spending time with you
Clothe me in your righteousnes
Enfold me in your love
Open my heart Lord so I can receive your gift
Open my eyes Lord so I can see your face
I know you had me on your mind
When you went to the cross
Every nail they drove through your hands
Every stripe upon your back
Every thorn than pieced your brow
And when they pierced your side
That were all for me
You took my guilt and you went to Calvary
How can I ever repay you Lord
I am forever in depth to you
Thanks for dying for me I love you Lord Jesus
And forever I will serve
HAVE A LOVELY AND BLESSED WEEK AHEAD
GOD BLESS YOU

Merry Christmas Matt,
May God Bless you this Christmas and the New Year to come. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and love and blessings Brenda
We hear the beating of wings over Bethlehem and a light that is not of the sun or of the stars shines in the midnight sky. Let the beauty of the story take away all narrowness, all thought of formal creeds. Let it be remembered as a story that has happened again and again, to men of many different races, that has been expressed through many religions, that has been called by many different names. Time and space and language lay no limitations upon human brotherhood. ~New York Times, 25 December 1937, quoted in Quotations for Special Occasions by Maud van Buren, 1938, published by The H.W. Wilson Company, New York

May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace,
The gladness of Christmas give you hope,
The warmth of Christmas grant you love.

Hello Matt. I am just dropping by to shower your place with prayers and love and to tell you what a good friend you are and you mean so much to me. I am Blessed!! Have yourself a wonderful day. Hugs Brenda

Recipe for Christmas All Year Long

Take a heap of child-like wonder
That opens up our eyes
To the unexpected gifts in life—
Each day a sweet surprise.

Mix in fond appreciation
For the people whom we know;
Like festive Christmas candles,
Each one has a special glow.

Add some giggles and some laughter,
A dash of Christmas food,
(Amazing how a piece of pie
Improves our attitude!)

Stir it all with human kindness;
Wrap it up in love and peace,
Decorate with optimism, and
Our joy will never cease.

If we use this healthy recipe,
We know we will remember
To be in the Christmas spirit,
Even when it's not December.

I am my father's child, He is watching over me,
Protecting me and guiding me
He blesses me with His presence and power
God is with me to help me, to heal me
To supply my needs and enrich me
My God is ready and willing to see me through,
For God is in control
Everything is working for good in my life
Believe it, decree it. speak it insist upon it
Persist in believing it
I have what it takes to relax and let go
I have what it takes to trust God
For God is with me and the source of everything I need
Prayer: Father Jesus I thank you for your unseen eyes that watches over me.
and your hand that guide me even through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will not fear for I know you art with me,
and you will not allow anything to conquer or overcome me.
Thank you for your love your grace and mercy
And your power to overcome .
Thank you for shielding me from the perils and dangers of this life.
I give you all the glory honour and praise for they belong to you in Jesus name I pray amen .

Just stopping by to tell you that you are loved. Happy Sabbath! God Bless you.

O Deer - He Said
by Eddie Jones

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Hope, it's a powerful force. Hope heals where fear hurts. Hope builds where doubt destroys. Hope sees where...

I wandered along the path in the Prayer Garden, taking short hesitant steps in the darkness of dawn. Wet leaves clung to my shoes. Mist rose from the creek. A wooden bench sat vacant among rhododendrons, its legs scarred where some animal, a bear perhaps, had scratched an itch.

Through the trees and up the hill, the trail took a turn. Unsure of what crouched around the bend, I opened my Bible. The black letters on white pages formed gray shapes so I struggled to read from memory. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Substance, evidence. I needed some of both. In my oh-too-small faith, I wanted tangible proof God was real, good, and that He would care for me.

The heavy padding of an animal ripping through the underbrush interrupted my thoughts. It bolted down the ravine, paused on the other side of the creek and, lifting its head, looked at me. I stopped breathing. I'd never seen one up close. Not that close, anyway.

The deer studied me, straining its neck as if trying to decide if I was foe or just part of the forest furniture. Finally, with her thirst quenched, she trotted behind my bench, up the trail, and into darkness.

I'd asked to see a bear. I got a deer, instead. I'd asked for proof of God's goodness. I got a reminder of how ungrateful I'd been. "As the deer pants for streams of water," the Psalmist says, "so my soul pants for you, O God." I had not longed for God like that in a very long time.

Either God is or He isn't, and if He is, then He deserves our trust, faith and worship.

I cannot prove God is. I can only see the evidence of His handprints on the bark of a tree, along the scalloped slope of a hill, and in the boundless energy of a young buck. Was it by chance that deer came to stand next to my bench? I don't think so. I think he came to give me hope and testify to God's glory.

Hope, it's a powerful force. Hope cures where fear curses. Hope encourages where doubt ridicules. Hope sees where... despair closes its eyes and cowers.

"Oh dear God, I'm sorry I doubt you. Please help my small faith find the hope to believe in your goodness and see the glory of your love."
